Amegilla berylae
Appearance
Amegilla berylae is a bee name introduced by Rayment in 1947 as Anthophora berylae. The authors of the 2017 Australian Amegilla revision could not find its type material, so their study did not resolve which bee the name represents. This missing taxonomic evidence does not establish that the bee is extinct.[1]
