Archaeopteropus

From Tilcayo Cats, the lean encyclopaedia by Tilcayo Knowledge Systems

Archaeopteropus is an extinct bat genus represented by A. transiens from the early Oligocene deposits of Monteviale in northern Italy. Its relationships have been disputed. A reassessment of the Monteviale fauna left its family placement uncertain, noting that the surviving cast did not preserve enough diagnostic detail for a satisfactory revision.[1]
