Mops shortridgei

Tilcayo Cats original · Bats · Sources and editorial assessment · Originals retention rule

Mops shortridgei is a bat name provisionally included within Mops chapini by the Mammal Diversity Database. It has been treated separately, and the database explicitly calls for further taxonomic work. The placement of chapini in Mops, rather than Chaerephon, also remains in need of confirmation.
