Nyctimene varia
Nyctimene varia is a bat in the family Pteropodidae. The Mammal Diversity Database recognises it as a species in its July 2026 release and records it in Indonesia.[1]
This is the name used for a bat formerly called Nyctimene minutus. The database treats the type specimen of minutus as probably belonging to N. albiventer, leaving varia as the next available name for the other species.[1]
