Pteronotus rubiginosus

Pteronotus rubiginosus is a bat in the family Mormoopidae. The Mammal Diversity Database recognises it as a species in its July 2026 release and records it in Bolivia, Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela.[1]

It has been recognised separately from P. parnellii.[1]
