Rhinolophus alticolus
Rhinolophus alticolus is a bat in the family Rhinolophidae. The Mammal Diversity Database recognises it as a species in its July 2026 release and records it in Cameroon, Guinea, Liberia and Nigeria.[1]
It has been separated from Rhinolophus simulator on morphology and its geographically separated distribution. The database notes that this distinction still needs further study.[1]
