Submyotodon caliginosus

Submyotodon caliginosus is a bat in the family Vespertilionidae. The Mammal Diversity Database recognises it as a species in its July 2026 release and records it in Afghanistan, India and Pakistan.[1] Its records for China and Nepal are marked as uncertain.[1]

Formerly included within Myotis muricola, it is placed in Submyotodon. The database provisionally includes the name blanfordi within this species.[1]
