Tilcayo Cats Original: editorial record

Local assessment: Start-Class. This is a Tilcayo editorial assessment, not a Wikipedia award or an independent audit.

Academy of American Poets and Donald W. Nichol’s August 2022 Grub Street Project biography were directly inspected. Both establish death in 1744, satisfying the deceased-author rule, but differ on the day (30 versus 31 May); the article gives the year only. Pastorals date 1709 follows Nichol rather than Academy’s 1710. Exact Odyssey publication range is omitted because the inspected summaries require reconciliation. RPO notes support the linked 1735 poem. This concise introduction is not a comprehensive account of Pope’s works, reception or scholarship and does not meet B-Class breadth. No living-person or organisation exception is requested. This is a local Start-Class assessment.

Original prose prepared from the inspected references on 10 October 2026 and published on 11 October 2026. The saved literary list supplied research leads, not prose. Role: Directly necessary deceased-author support.
