Tilcayo Cats Original: editorial record

Local assessment: Start-Class. This is a Tilcayo editorial assessment, not a Wikipedia award or an independent audit.

Identified as Norman Douglas’s 1921 travel book, not Richard E. Byrd’s later book of the same title. Collins’s 2006 thesis subsection on Alone, pp. 125–127, was read for dating, travel context and explicitly attributed interpretation. The Gutenberg dedication, contents, introduction and opening of the first Rome chapter were inspected; its automatically generated catalogue summary was not used. The full book and its wider reception have not been closely reviewed. No claim is made that the electronic text is a facsimile of the first edition. This is a supported introductory account, not a comprehensive literary assessment.

Original prose written from the inspected references, 10 October 2026. The saved literary list supplied research leads, not prose. Role: Requested literary work. This is a bounded initial account, not a claim that the literature has been exhausted.

Preserve this Original at every grade. Grade or length alone must not trigger deletion, blanking, imported replacement, redirection away or regeneration.
