Talk:Amphitryon (Heinrich von Kleist)
Tilcayo Cats Original: editorial record
Local assessment: Start-Class. This is a Tilcayo editorial assessment, not a Wikipedia award or an independent audit.
Kleist’s 1807 play is distinguished from the mythological figure and Molière’s 1668 version. Reclam’s description, the Suhrkamp sample cast list and Act I opening, Sammons’s public chapter summary, and Zhang’s public abstract were directly inspected. The complete play and full scholarly chapters/articles were not read; citations identify the accessible summaries/abstract. Only the supported premise and opening scene are summarised, not an invented full plot. Psychological interpretation is attributed. No exact composition date, premiere venue or broad reception consensus is claimed. More textual and performance scholarship is needed for a higher grade.
Original prose written from the inspected references, 10 October 2026. The saved literary list supplied research leads, not prose. Role: Requested literary work. This is a bounded initial account, not a claim that the literature has been exhausted.
Preserve this Original at every grade. Grade or length alone must not trigger deletion, blanking, imported replacement, redirection away or regeneration.
