Talk:An Account of Corsica
Tilcayo Cats Original: editorial record
Local assessment: Start-Class. This is a Tilcayo editorial assessment, not a Wikipedia award or an independent audit.
The requested long title is reconciled to the complete work An Account of Corsica, not a distinct book or an edition consisting only of the Journal. Publication in 1768 is supported by the Yale correspondence description; the Oxford 2006 public abstract and contents establish the two-part design and political purpose. The 1769 third-edition title page, dedication and preface were directly read in the Wikisource transcription, which is incomplete overall. Primary statements about method are explicitly attributed to Boswell. The complete book, Oxford introduction and wider reception scholarship were not read; no broad reception claim or complete critical survey is made. The inaccessible Oxford chronology/introduction were not used.
Original prose written from the inspected references, 10 October 2026. The saved literary list supplied research leads, not prose. Role: Requested literary work. This is a bounded initial account, not a claim that the literature has been exhausted.
