Talk:An Epistle to Burlington
Tilcayo Cats Original: editorial record
Local assessment: C-Class.
Local C-Class assessment: a sourced account of identity, publication titles, poetic form, architectural and garden satire, revision and early responses. The RPO poem and notes were inspected; its displayed text is not presented as an exact facsimile of the 1731 first edition. Ferraro’s discussion on pp.119–125 was inspected, with his interpretation explicitly attributed; underlying manuscripts and other critics’ studies were not independently examined. Lock’s 1975 introduction supplies early reception and the title sequence. Full publication history, the Timon identification controversy and a wider critical survey remain gaps, so B-Class coverage is not claimed. No claim that research is exhausted. This is a Tilcayo local editorial grade, not a Wikipedia award or independent audit. The existing deceased-author Original for Pope and existing Architecture and Poetry accounts are reused unchanged. No living-person or organisation exception is required.
Original prose prepared on 11 October 2026. The saved literary list supplied the research lead, not prose (source index14). No verse or modern scholarly prose is copied.
