- Strongly agree – those undated [citation needed] tags have been rotting for far too long and make the article look sloppy. Dating them is basic maintenance; anything older than 12 months without a source should be challenged or removed per WP:DEADLINE. I'll support a sweep. - Dating the [citation needed] tags is a bare minimum; the article has accumulated far too many and they should have been actioned under WP:PROD or challenged years ago. - Dating [citation needed] tags is pointless busywork if we don't enforce removal. The Catholic Church article is bloated with unsourced claims that have lingered for years; per WP:V and WP:PROD any material older than 12 months without a source must be excised immediately, not coddled with dates.
