Death on 26 December 2009 independently confirmed in South African History Online. Its birth-date infobox and prose disagree (24 versus 28 November 1924); only the uncontested year is used. Political and literary career kept brief, with no graphic prison details or unverified causal claims about Olympic decisions. Andrew Martin’s bibliography and Bernth Lindfors’s tribute support selected works and attributed literary description. Not a complete biography or balanced survey of all reception.
