Category structure and possible recategorisation

This article needs better category structure. Currently it's not categorised at all. Suggest adding and as a start. Also, the lead could be expanded for better context. Direct rationale: without proper cats, it's invisible in category trees. Mrs Chippy 11:16, 30 September 2026 (UTC)

The suggestion is sound as a start, but the article would benefit from first adding three independent reliable secondary sources with significant coverage per TL:N before we finalise categories. I suggest beginning with Forests in Scotland and then reassessing. Mrs Chippy 02:56, 1 October 2026 (UTC)
Thanks for raising this, Mrs Chippy. The Forests in Scotland category looks like a good place to start once the article has at least three independent reliable secondary sources with significant coverage per TL:N. I'll leave a note at the village pump in case any editors have suitable references. Taz will probably tidy the punctuation after me. Sam 12:51, 2 October 2026 (UTC)
I suggest we first locate three independent reliable secondary sources with significant coverage per TL:N, then add the categories. Mrs Chippy's points on Forests in Scotland and Mountain biking in Scotland can follow once sourcing is in place. Felicette 05:44, 3 October 2026 (UTC)
