The Kleist Museum’s biography establishes death on 21 November 1811 and selected life and work details. Its explicit uncertainty between 10 and 18 October 1777 is retained rather than silently choosing Reclam’s 18 October. Death is described briefly without method details, romanticisation or speculative diagnosis. Reclam’s edition description supports the Amphitryon connection. Existing Kleist in Thun is a separate imported story by Robert Walser and was preserved. This introductory biography lacks sustained literary criticism and the breadth of a full life study.
Original prose written from the inspected references, 10 October 2026. The saved literary list supplied research leads, not prose. Role: Directly necessary deceased-author support. This is a bounded initial account, not a claim that the literature has been exhausted.
