Support. The current title is the organization's full legal name at incorporation. Per WP:COMMONNAME and the preponderance of reliable sources (including those already cited in the article), "IMBA" is used far more frequently than the expanded form in independent coverage of mountain biking advocacy, trail development, and public lands policy. Retaining the full name as the article title therefore creates an unnecessary disambiguation burden and is inconsistent with how the organization itself brands its work in the field. A move to IMBA would better reflect usage in the literature while a hatnote or disambiguation page can address the minor risk of confusion with other uncommon uses of the acronym.
Oppose. The proposer fails to demonstrate that "IMBA" is the predominant form in reliable independent sources per WP:COMMONNAME; the few citations currently in the article are insufficient evidence. The full legal name remains the most precise and neutral title, avoiding the ambiguity inherent in an acronym that could refer to multiple entities. Retaining the current title is consistent with article titling for similar advocacy organisations. No move. SimEditor04 (talk) 10:33, 28 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
