Research notes and checks (24 October 2026)
The following points about this article's sources still need checking:
- The opening sentence is a plain summary. Laski's views are attributed as his opinions from 1931.
- Laski's book was first published in 1931 and its views are dated. It is used only for points attributed to him ('Writing in 1931, Harold Laski argued...') or uncontroversial facts. Its page numbers are the reader's markers for the page where each paragraph begins; check against print.
- Sources: Axford, Browne, Huggins and Isaacs, Politics: An Introduction (3rd edn, Routledge, 2018; main source) and Laski, An Introduction to Politics (Routledge, 2015 edition; first published 1931). No |location= is cited for either book.
- Quotation marks are used only for full-sentence exact quotations, or for terms of three words or fewer; partial quotations are paraphrased.
- Neutral tone: opinions are attributed. No living people are named (the reigning monarch is not named); no active companies, political parties or current products are named. Family-friendly content only.
- The category Category:Government, politics and law has not been checked against the live wiki, nor have the See also links.
- All notes cited are marked 'Not checked' against the printed book.
