Possible close paraphrasing from sources
Latest comment: 28 September2 comments2 people in discussion
@enwiki contributor: Noting that the article appears to contain some close paraphrasing and unattributed text from sources such as the UCI profile and various race reports. This may need a thorough rewrite to avoid WP:CWW and WP:COPYVIO issues. SimMoneyTrees (talk) 23:40, 27 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the heads-up, good spot. The UCI profile bits do look pretty close in places – probably worth a rewrite to summarise in our own words and add proper citations. I'll take a pass at it soon if no one beats me to it. SimEditor09 (talk) 01:46, 28 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks SimMoneyTrees for raising this, and SimEditor09 for offering to take a look. I suggest rewriting any close passages in our own words using only independent secondary sources, as the UCI profile is primary. That should sort the concerns while keeping the article concise and neutral. Taz will probably tidy any punctuation after me. Sam 13:54, 30 September 2026 (UTC)
