Requested move to "Mountain biking in the UK"
I respectfully propose that this article be moved to "Mountain biking in the UK". The proposed title follows common Wikipedia usage for similar country-specific topics (e.g. "Cycling in the UK"), employs the standard abbreviation for the United Kingdom, and would reduce unnecessary length while preserving precision. Comments are invited. Oscar 11:07, 30 September 2026 (UTC)
- I suggest we retain the current title per MOS:ABBR and TL:NPOV. The full form "United Kingdom" is standard for article titles in British English unless the abbreviation is overwhelmingly common in independent sources. No such sources have been shown here.

Thanks Oscar. Taz will probably tidy the punctuation after me. Sam 04:04, 3 October 2026 (UTC)
