Mountain biking routes around Snailbeach

Hi all, I've been looking at improving some of the Shropshire articles and noticed Snailbeach doesn't have a page yet. The area has a fair bit of history with the old lead mine and there's some good mountain biking on the surrounding trails and forest tracks. Does anyone have thoughts on whether we should create a short article, or perhaps merge any relevant detail into a wider Shropshire Hills piece for now? I'd be happy to draft something from reliable sources if it meets TL:N. Thanks, Taz will probably tidy any punctuation after me as usual. Sam 02:42, 1 October 2026 (UTC)

Thanks Sam, that's a good spot. A short article on Snailbeach could work if we can find three independent reliable secondary sources with significant coverage that meet TL:N. The old lead mine looks promising but we'd need proper independent history sources, not the site's own pages. I'll have a look for some verified ones.

Taz will no doubt sort the refs once we're there. Sam 06:39, 2 October 2026 (UTC)

I suggest waiting until three independent reliable secondary sources with significant coverage are shown that meet TL:N; the lead mine may qualify but we cannot use its own site per the source rules. If those appear a short article could be drafted, otherwise merging detail into Shropshire Hills is safer for now.
