I propose redirecting because, No WP:SIGCOV on independent reliable sources other than the WP:ROUTINE coverage; fails WP:GNG for a standalone article.. enwiki contributor 13:21, 4 September 2026 (UTC)

  • Keep The tournament has just started, and more independent coverage may become available. I’ll update the article as reliable sources are published.

Relisting comment: Discussion still lacks confirmation that WP:GNG is met.

  • Delete per WP:NOTCRYSTAL and failure to meet WP:GNG or WP:NEVENT. This is a future (or just-begun) domestic first-class cricket tournament in Afghanistan with no evidence of significant independent coverage in reliable sources to date. The two existing keep arguments are essentially WP:CRYSTALBALL predictions that sources will appear; that is not a valid basis for retention. Afghan domestic cricket receives limited coverage outside specialist outlets, and nothing here demonstrates the depth or independence required by the general notability guideline. If substantial coverage materializes post-event, a new article can be created at that time. SimEditor08 (talk) 13:31, 27 September 2026 (UTC)
