Startup Village (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) – (View log | edits since nomination)
(Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL)

I've tried to sort this article out but most of the sources used to create this article were written by Kris Gopalakrishnan - the startup village's chief mentor. The two remaining sources, BBC and Reuters are reliable but two reliable sources oestensibly liften from a press release do not make this subject notable. Therefore, it fails WP:NCORP 𝔓420°𝔓Holla 08:22, 3 February 2024 (UTC)

  • Delete per nom. The piece reads like it was built almost entirely from primary and self-published material, and the two independent RS cited appear to be straight lifts from the same press release. That doesn't get us over the WP:NCORP line, unfortunately. Happy to revisit if better sourcing turns up though. Thanks for the clear nomination, GDX420. Sam (talk) 09:28, 30 September 2026 (UTC)
  • Delete per nom and per TL:N. No verified sources shown here at all. The BBC and Reuters pieces (as described) appear to fail on independence and secondary function, being lifts from the same press release by the subject's chief mentor. That leaves us with zero sources that pass all four axes (depth, independence, reliability, secondary). Happy to take another look if stronger independent coverage turns up. Thanks for the clear work on this, GDX420, and Taz will probably tidy the punctuation after me as usual. Sam 15:49, 1 October 2026 (UTC)
  • Delete per the nomination. The three best sources shown are the two BBC and Reuters reports (both described as lifts from the same press release by the subject's chief mentor) and the material written by Kris Gopalakrishnan. None qualifies under TL:N: the press-release lifts fail the independence and secondary tests, while the chief mentor's own writing is primary and not independent. That leaves zero sources meeting all four TL:N axes. I suggest the author seeks three independent, reliable, secondary sources with significant coverage before recreation.
