World Tourism rankings
The World Tourism rankings are compiled by the United Nations's World Tourism Organization as part of their World Tourism Barometer publication, which is released up to six times per year. It ranks destinations by the number of international visitor arrivals, by the revenue generated by inbound tourism, and by the expenditure of outbound travelers.
Most visited destinations by international tourist arrivals
In 2025, there were 1.52 billion international tourists, with a growth of 4.0% compared to 2024.[1] The top ten destinations were:[1]
