C-Class, provisional: current Kew subspecies acceptance and callibotryon synonymy; directly read 2021 revision key and pp.23–24 distinguish the two subspecies. General species stature/hood characters are explicitly attributed at species level; subspecies diagnostic hairs kept separate. No parent-species redirect to one subspecies. Regional ecology, phenology, reproductive biology and population evidence remain gaps. The Polish red-book PDF was located but retrieval failed and it is not cited as read.
