Tilcayo Cats Original: editorial record
Local assessment: C-Class. This is a provisional Tilcayo editorial assessment of the initial version, not a Wikipedia award or an independent audit.
C-Class: current taxonomy, morphology, Brazilian range, national threat assessment and two scoped research findings supported. CNCFlora profile was inspected through indexed text. Its justification gives an implausible 60 m height while its ecology section says 60 cm; it also gives conflicting occupied-area figures. These measurements were omitted, not silently reconciled. National Vulnerable status is distinguished from Kew machine-predicted extinction risk, which is not an IUCN assessment. Research papers inspected at abstract level; no full-paper claim. Pollination, seed dispersal and current demographic data remain gaps.
Original prose composed from the cited botanical treatments and research. Wikipedia's plant hotlist A supplied the research lead Acanthococos emensis, not the article text. Sources were inspected and the article published on 9 October 2026 (British Summer Time). Regional and experimental findings are scoped to their evidence. No claim is made that the literature is exhausted.
