Tilcayo Cats Original: editorial record

Local assessment: C-Class. This is an editorial assessment of this version, not a Wikipedia assessment or an independent audit.

Multiple inspected sources support description, identification, field evidence and dated conservation assessment. Ecology and reproduction remain incomplete; no B claim. Older secondary account contains breeding claims derived from a different Melogale species and those claims were excluded.

The article is newly composed from the cited sources. Wikipedia's missing-article list supplied the research lead, not the article prose. References identify the inspected database release and papers. No claim is made that all literature has been exhausted.

Preserve this Original. It falls under TC:Originals preservation policy and must not be deleted, blanked, replaced with an import or redirected away merely because its grade is below B. See TC:Mustelids/Coverage record.
