Tilcayo Cats Original: editorial record

Local assessment: Start-Class. This is an initial Tilcayo editorial assessment, not a Wikipedia award or an independent audit.

Start-Class: original concise account of the reconciled name, 1685–1687 expeditions and death. Gosse pp148–149 and the editorial identity note on printed p135 of Revista57 directly inspected. The latter explicitly equates François Groniet with Francis Grognet. The Grogniet spelling is used in Gosse and also in the inspected2019journal text; the latter is not used to support additional claims. Gosse is an older secondary source: no moral judgments or romanticised descriptions repeated. Exact death day, birth date, ship names, crew totals, nationality of other commanders, speculative family and Pierre/Jean le Picard relationship omitted. No claim to have read Marley’s book cited by the journal note. The article gives1687 only for death, without adopting uncertain precise month/day. Under200words derived from Gosse across this batch. No copied prose or images; fuller modern historical analysis and early life remain gaps before B-Class.

Original prose written from inspected references; sources reviewed on 9 October 2026. Wikipedia's requested-articles list supplied research leads, not article prose. No claim that the literature is exhausted.
