Tilcayo Cats Original: editorial record

Local assessment: C-Class. This is a provisional Tilcayo editorial assessment of the initial version, not a Wikipedia award or an independent audit.

Description and regional ecology checked against Flora of Zimbabwe, with taxonomic corroboration and a carefully scoped SANBI national assessment. The Arizona horticultural page gave a conflicting Sahel-to-South-Africa range and smooth grey bark; those claims were excluded in favour of the regional flora and WFO. SANBI assessment inspected through the indexed primary-source text; direct page retrieval failed, so no claim of a new full conservation audit. Reproduction and detailed population ecology remain incomplete for B-Class.

This is original prose composed from the cited floras, taxonomic treatments and botanical records. Wikipedia's plant hotlist A supplied the research lead Acacia borleae, not the article text. Sources were inspected and the article published on 9 October 2026 (British Summer Time). Taxonomic acceptance is attributed and regional observations are not presented as universal. No claim is made that the literature is exhausted.
