Tilcayo Cats Original: editorial record

Local assessment: Start-Class. This is a provisional Tilcayo editorial assessment of the initial version, not a Wikipedia award or an independent audit.

Start-Class: supported identity, restricted range, habitat and a carefully bounded summary of primary climate modelling. Detailed leaf, flower and fruit diagnosis, pollination, population trends and a directly reviewed current conservation assessment remain gaps. The 2021 paper was read as a full publisher PDF via Semantic Scholar. Its abstract labels some scenario totals differently from its results table; numerical projections are therefore not repeated. The historical Vulnerable wording in that paper is not asserted as the current IUCN status. No claim that literature is exhausted.

Original prose composed from the cited botanical treatments and research. Wikipedia's plant hotlist A supplied the research lead Acacia negrii, not the article text. Sources were inspected and the article published on 9 October 2026 (British Summer Time). Regional and experimental findings are scoped to their evidence. No claim is made that the literature is exhausted.
