This template is used to close a Request for comment (RfC) on a talk page or a noticeboard. This template employs just a single parameter, used for the result of the discussion.
These templates should be used in conjunction with the talk page guidelines and relevant advice at Wikipedia:Requests for comment § Closing the discussion.
Usage
Place the {{RfC top}} template below the header containing the discussion, then place {{RfC bottom}} at the end of the discussion.
Again: Place it below the ==header==. Do not include the header, it will break archiving bots!

Legobot bug (fixed)
Before enwiki contributor had been fixed, it was important to use the direct transclusions {{closed rfc top}}/{{closed rfc bottom}} since if redirects such as {{rfc top}}/{{rfc bottom}} were used, enwiki contributor could interpret them as open RfCs, which made edits like these with this result. After the bot had been fixed, it is no longer necessary to use the direct transclusions {{closed rfc top}}/{{closed rfc bottom}}.
