Tilcayo Cats:Structural-need exceptions

From Tilcayo Cats, the lean encyclopaedia by Tilcayo Knowledge Systems

This page records named structural-need exceptions authorised by James Lawrie. An exception permits only the exact subject and narrow coverage recorded here. It does not create a general route for active organisations, companies or products, and it does not transfer to related subjects.

Approval before new exceptions

James confirmed on 9 October 2026 that source-supported pages directly required for the encyclopaedia's structure may be created. Any structural-need exception for a living person or an active organisation requires his explicit approval before publication. Present the exact proposed minimal account and why it is needed; hold uncertain cases rather than assuming eligibility. A source citation does not confer an exception on its author or publisher. Supporting work must be finite and directly relevant, not an automatic chain of new pages. This rule adds no approved person or organisation to the register.

Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

Authorised by James Lawrie on 9 October 2026. The sole entry in this register is Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Its botanical cataloguing and classification resources are cited throughout the plant Originals, so a minimal account gives readers source context and a useful internal navigation route.

  • Scope: identification, United Kingdom/London location, connection to the gardens at Kew, and its role in plant names and classification. Keep the organisation account to two short sentences, apart from references and the Original marker.
  • Sourcing: Kew's own scientific resource documentation may support these plain identifying and functional facts. This case-specific permission overrides the three-source threshold and secondary-only first-draft restriction for this minimal account only. It does not establish independent notability, blanket reliability or permission for promotional claims.
  • Retention: active-organisation status, short length or a Stub-Class assessment alone must not trigger rejection, deletion, redirection or replacement of this authorised account. Preserve its original prose and history under TC:Originals preservation policy. Routine sourced corrections remain permitted.
  • Limits: no visitor offers, ticket prices, products, fundraising, marketing claims, extensive institutional history, staff biographies or automatic article expansion. Related institutions and Kew's staff, partners and commercial activities receive no exemption.
  • No precedent: an organisation being useful, scientific, frequently cited or similar to Kew is not enough. Any further named structural-need exception requires James's explicit decision; bots must not infer or generate one. The existing publisher rule and two founder's exceptions remain separate.

The ordinary rules remain in force for every other subject. See TC:Notability and TC:Topic gate. This is an editorial instruction for editors and bots; it does not claim that an automatic server-side exemption check has been implemented.
