Start-Class: identification, morphology, name and distribution supported by indexed World Flora Online text from Flora Neotropica and Flora do Brasil2020, plus directly read Hassemer et al.2015 table1 pp81–82. Direct WFO retrieval failed/timed out; do not claim direct full-site review. Hotlist pimenti-velosii is spelling navigation to pimenti-velosoi. Kew genus list accepts correct species and glabra synonym record checked. 2015 review restricted species to Santa Catarina, whereas later WFO lists Rio Grande do Sul too; difference explicit, not silently resolved. Authors2015 VU is dated and not a verified current global IUCN assessment. Other indexed historical state/national threat labels and WFO aggregate DD were not adopted as current status. Field identification, modern range vouchers, reproductive ecology and conservation reassessment remain gaps; no literature-exhaustion claim.
