A tag has been placed on [[:{{{1}}}]] requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is:

• a disambiguation page with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" which lists only one extant Wikipedia page (i.e., there is a primary topic);
• a disambiguation page that lists zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
• a redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" whose target is neither a disambiguation page nor page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by [[:{{{1}}}|visiting the page]] and removing the speedy deletion tag.

This template is used to notify users about pages that have been nominated for speedy deletion. Specifically, it is used for pages that have been nominated under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, "Unnecessary disambiguations". This template is usually used in conjunction with {{db-disambig}}; for other speedy deletion notification templates see the table to the right.

This template is used to notify users who have created an orphaned disambiguation page, which either

• disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
• disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
• is a redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Usage

This template should be substituted on to the user talk page of the author of the page that has been tagged for speedy deletion.

If this template is used on a page that did not previously exist (that is, if the user receiving the notice is new user), the template automatically includes a {{first article}} welcome message. This welcome can be turned off with the |nowelcome= parameter as described below.

Basic usage

{{subst:db-disambig-notice|PageName}}

Where PageName is the name of the page that has been tagged for speedy deletion.

Parameters

|nowelcome=

If this parameter exists, then the {{first article}} welcome message is not included, even if the page the notice is being placed on did not previously exist.

|header=

by default, the template adds a level two section header of "Speedy deletion nomination of PageName". To suppress the header, use |header=no.

|header-text=

a custom value for the header text.

|demo=

if you are demonstrating the template's functionality, transclude the template rather than substitute it, and use |demo=yes. This will prevent the template from being automatically substituted by a bot.

|namespace=

this is the namespace of the page tagged for speedy deletion. For example, if the page is in the "Wikipedia" namespace then the value would be Wikipedia. It is not necessary to specify this parameter if the namespace is already included in the page name. If the page is in the main article namespace then this parameter should be omitted.
