Supporting author accounts

The existing Daniel Defoe biography also supports the collection.

A finite collection in progress

The saved research list contains 394 entries under 392 title strings. These are leads, not 394 verified missing works: each needs checks for identity, aliases, existing coverage and sources. Eleven entries are now covered; 383 remain for individual review. Supporting biographies are counted separately from requested works.

Each article states what its inspected evidence supports. Further research may improve its coverage. A book can be described without a separate biography of a living author; any such exception requires the publisher's explicit approval. No living-person or active-organisation exception has been made for this batch.
