Template:Uw-addalink
Information icon Hello, I'm Example. Thank you for editing Wikipedia. I noticed that some of the linking you did via the Add a Link structured task appears to have added an inappropriate link.
Please keep in mind that the link suggestions you are shown are machine-generated and will be wrong some of the time. Your role in the task is to identify which suggestions are correct and add only those links.
We value a small number of good edits over a larger number with more errors, so you are encouraged to edit slowly at a pace that makes you confident in your judgements. Editors who rush through the task and make many errors may be restricted.
If you have any questions about the Add a Link task, feel free to reply to ask me or to [[User talk:{{#mentor:Uw-addalink}}|submit a question to your mentor]]. Thank you.

Usage
{{subst:Uw-addalink}}{{subst:Uw-addalink|Article}}references a specific article{{subst:Uw-addalink|Article|Additional text}}adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you"{{subst:Uw-addalink||Additional text}}or{{subst:Uw-addalink|2=Additional text}}also adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you", but doesn't link a page as specified by the article.{{subst:Uw-addalink|Article|reason=Additional reason}}replaces "added an inappropriate link" by a specific reason
Please remember to substitute the template using {{subst:Uw-addalink}} rather than {{Uw-addalink}}.
To customize your message, parameters are available; one to add the article name, and one to add additional text at the end of the message. If your param value contains an equal sign (as urls often do), then be sure to explicitly specify the positional parameter by number; i.e., use |1= or |2= followed by the value; e.g., |1=XYZ=Repainting, or |2=https://www.bbc.com/search?q=Kent+weather.
