Template:Uw-xfdpersonal
Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your comments. Please note that, on Wikipedia, arguments surrounding the deletion of content should not be based entirely on your personal opinion about the article (i.e. whether you like it or not, how useful or valuable it is, etc.), but include reasoning based on our policies and guidelines (e.g. neutral point of view, no original research, verifiability, biographies of living people, what Wikipedia is not, etc.). Please consider reading Wikipedia's deletion policy for a brief overview of the deletion process, and the essay on arguments to avoid during deletion discussions. We hope that you decide to stay and contribute even more. Thank you!
| File:Information icon4.svg | This template should always be substituted – use {{subst:Uw-xfdpersonal}}. Any accidental transclusions will be automatically substituted by a bot. |
Usage
{{subst:Uw-xfdpersonal}}{{subst:Uw-xfdpersonal|Article}}references a specific article{{subst:Uw-xfdpersonal|Article|Additional text}}adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you"{{subst:Uw-xfdpersonal||Additional text}}or{{subst:Uw-xfdpersonal|2=Additional text}}also adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you", but doesn't link a page as specified by the article.
Please remember to substitute the template using {{subst:Uw-xfdpersonal}} rather than {{Uw-xfdpersonal}}.
To customize your message, parameters are available; one to add the article name, and one to add additional text at the end of the message. If your param value contains an equal sign (as urls often do), then be sure to explicitly specify the positional parameter by number; i.e., use |1= or |2= followed by the value; e.g., |1=XYZ=Repainting, or |2=https://www.bbc.com/search?q=Kent+weather.
