Template:Uw-afcaddition
Information icon Hello, I'm Jimbo. I wanted to let you know that I've added your recently created draft ([[{{{1}}}]]) to the Articles for Creation procedure. I've done this because I believe it will be beneficial for you and your article so that you can learn from experienced editors before it's moved to mainspace. If you don't want to use AfC, feel free to revert my edit. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.
| File:Information icon4.svg | This template should always be substituted – use {{subst:Uw-afcaddition}}. Any accidental transclusions will be automatically substituted by a bot. |
Usage
{{subst:Uw-afcaddition|Draft changed}}references a specific draft changed{{subst:Uw-afcaddition|Draft changed|Additional text}}adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you"{{subst:Uw-afcaddition||Additional text}}or{{subst:Uw-afcaddition|2=Additional text}}also adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you", but doesn't link a page as specified by the draft changed.
Please remember to substitute the template using {{subst:Uw-afcaddition}} rather than {{Uw-afcaddition}}.
To customize your message, parameters are available; one to add the article name, and one to add additional text at the end of the message. If your param value contains an equal sign (as urls often do), then be sure to explicitly specify the positional parameter by number; i.e., use |1= or |2= followed by the value; e.g., |1=XYZ=Repainting, or |2=https://www.bbc.com/search?q=Kent+weather.
