Template:Uw-infobox
Information icon Hello, I'm Example. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because you appear to have made an unexplained change to information inside an infobox, which didn't reflect facts contained within the article's body. The infobox is meant to summarize the key facts already present in the article itself. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source when making the change or discuss your change on the article's talk page. You can also find the information in the main written body of the article and change it there; make sure you cite the source there too. Have a look at the tutorial on citing sources if you need help with this. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox instead. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks!
| File:Information icon4.svg | This template should always be substituted – use {{subst:Uw-infobox}}. Any accidental transclusions will be automatically substituted by a bot. |
Usage
{{subst:Uw-infobox}}{{subst:Uw-infobox|Article}}references a specific article{{subst:Uw-infobox|Article|Additional text}}adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you"{{subst:Uw-infobox||Additional text}}or{{subst:Uw-infobox|2=Additional text}}also adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you", but doesn't link a page as specified by the article.
Please remember to substitute the template using {{subst:Uw-infobox}} rather than {{Uw-infobox}}.
To customize your message, parameters are available; one to add the article name, and one to add additional text at the end of the message. If your param value contains an equal sign (as urls often do), then be sure to explicitly specify the positional parameter by number; i.e., use |1= or |2= followed by the value; e.g., |1=XYZ=Repainting, or |2=https://www.bbc.com/search?q=Kent+weather.
