Template:Uw-citevar
Information icon Hello. I noticed a recent edit of yours where you added or updated a citation. Thank you so much for your contributions, especially in the area of citations; this is very important for maintaining the verifiability of the encyclopedia.
One thing I noticed, though, was that this citation has a different citation style than the other ones in that article. As a general rule, editors should not attempt to change an article's established citation style without first seeking consensus for the change on the article talk page. For further details, please see § Variation in citation methods. If you need help matching your citation to the citation style of the article, feel free to reply below, ask me on [[User talk:en>Wikipedia contributors|my talk page]], or visit the help desk. Thank you.

| File:Information icon4.svg | This template should always be substituted – use {{subst:Uw-citevar}}. Any accidental transclusions will be automatically substituted by a bot. |
Usage
{{subst:Uw-citevar}}{{subst:Uw-citevar|Article}}references a specific article{{subst:Uw-citevar|Article|Additional text}}adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you"{{subst:Uw-citevar||Additional text}}or{{subst:Uw-citevar|2=Additional text}}also adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you", but doesn't link a page as specified by the article.
Please remember to substitute the template using {{subst:Uw-citevar}} rather than {{Uw-citevar}}.
To customize your message, parameters are available; one to add the article name, and one to add additional text at the end of the message. If your param value contains an equal sign (as urls often do), then be sure to explicitly specify the positional parameter by number; i.e., use |1= or |2= followed by the value; e.g., |1=XYZ=Repainting, or |2=https://www.bbc.com/search?q=Kent+weather.
