Template:Uw-paraphrase
File:Copyright-problem.svg Your addition has been removed or altered as it appears to closely paraphrase a copyrighted source. Limited close paraphrasing or quotation may be appropriate if the material is clearly attributed in the text. However, longer paraphrases, especially if not attributed to their source, may be copyright violations or plagiarism and cannot be hosted on Wikipedia for legal reasons. Please do not post such text on any page, even if you plan to fix it later. You may use external websites or printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences: say it in your own words.
If you own the copyright to the text and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing others to modify it — then you must verify that by one of the methods explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the copyright but have permission from the owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.
Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Thank you.
Usage
{{subst:Uw-paraphrase}}{{subst:Uw-paraphrase|Article}}references a specific article{{subst:Uw-paraphrase|Article|Additional text}}adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you"{{subst:Uw-paraphrase|Article|Additional text|url=Source URL}}adds the URL of the source that was closely paraphrased
Please remember to substitute the template using {{subst:Uw-paraphrase}} rather than {{Uw-paraphrase}}.
This template uses a parser function. To give greater detail to your message, you may add the article and some additional text to the end of the template. If such article or additional text includes a URL or anything which includes an equal sign ("="), it may break the parser's function unless you prefix the article or the text with 1= or 2=, respectively.
